Applications for the Peer Program Scholarship can be submitted until October 14th

The University of Pécs Faculty of Pharmacy announces a request for application for its Peer Program Scholarship for the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.

Students eligible to apply for the scholarship: have completed at least two semesters at University of Pécs Faculty of Pharmacy, or who have graduated from the University of Pécs Faculty of  Pharmacy and are currently full-time PhD students.

The scloarship may be granted to students who:

  • have an active student’s legal status
  • have a Hungarian bank account
  • are sufficiently familiar with the issues and procedures of university life (who is to be contacted in certain situations, what is where at the university, etc.)
  • are fully aware of the regulations concerning students
  • have excellent communication skills
  • are empathetic
  • are willing to participate in training organized for Peers
  • are willing to keep continuous contact with their mentored students until the very end of the actual semester
  • are willing to write and submit a detailed report of their mentoring activities
  • will pass a personal interview
  • student’s status certificate - will be requested internally by the Admissions and Student Service Offices.

Applications can be submitted electronically to the Admissions and Student Service Office of  University of Pécs Medical School, through the digital ‘application form’ found at the announcements section of our website.

Deadline for applications for the scholarship is 4pm on 14 October 2020.

Decision on the applications shall be made by a professional committee led by the Vice Dean for Education and the evaluation process is expected to be completed by 28th October 2020.

Payments for the scholarship for successful candidates is 10,000 HUF on a monthly basis, which will be transferred to the students’ Hungarian bank account. Scholarship will be paid for 5 consecutive months.
