The 41st Medikus Kupa is going to be hosted at Pécs this year. This is an annual event, where players from all 4 Medical Unis of Hungary compete against eachother in different sports. Men's/Women's handball, volleyball, basketball and men's football/soccer, and water polo. In recent years fan became HUGE part of the event, with hundreds of student accompanying the players.
It's a huge party and it lasts for a weekend. I don't really think there's another event, where more than 1500 med students party together..
This year we decided to make the Bull of the Zsolnay fountain our logo, also we're going to have a bull Mascot.
Last year the fans of POTE decided to start something new. And that was having a theme for the event, which was the LMFAO style. Lots of fans put on fancy tights and leggings and afro wigs... it was crazy!! :D
This year the theme is going to be: superheros! So it's your turn to create some crazy costumes. Masks, wigs, former halloween and city race costumes whatever (I saw a Pikachu costume in the harlem shake video and someone had a Banana costume at the freshman camp, they need to be there!!!!haha) In case if you don't want to dress up, make sure you bring your POTE hoodie
And because you need to be louder than fans of DOTE/SOTE and SZOTE to give your team and players the boost, don't forget your drums, horns, whistles, stovepipes, metal rubbish bins or anything that makes noise, so we can step over any and all Decibel limits!
So it's gonna be 1000 (or even more) students from POTE and another 1000 from the other 3 Unis, plus joining us some bands and DJs like: Julia Carpenter, Punnany Massif, Karmatronic, DJ Bajusz, Whiteboy and DJ Portugal!
