Inspirational words from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology to students at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year

11 September 2020

Dear Students!

You will certainly be even more excited about the start of the 2020/21 academic year, than in the previous years - not to mention the freshmen - as there will be a little bit of anxiety in this excitement. Not only you have to face the university challenges in the fall semester, but you also have to adapt to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The latter also challenges us, the professors every day, as we need to reorganize the curriculum so that it can be as safe as possible for all of us. The staff of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy will do their best to make the practices run smoothly and efficiently, including shooting instructional videos to make it easier to understand and master the magistral preparations and industrial practices, and we are also developing a website that facilitates dose checking.

We hope that we can make live lessons for as many weeks as possible, but if the pandemic continues to escalate, we will take advantage of the opportunities offered by the university's online interfaces. Student's feedbacks from the previous semester confirmed that it is also possible to have enjoyable lessons on Microsoft Teams, and that student-professor communication and even exams can be conducted online.

So no worries, we wish all our students a successful and stress-free start to the semester!
