Topic

The course provides introductory knowledge to the subject area of liposome-based nano-formulations for targeted drug delivery systems in cancer therapy. Throughout the semester, the most important basic knowledge will be based on novel liposomal anticancer drug delivery strategies. The students will receive insight into the professional background of liposome drug delivery systems for anticancer treatments, mode of action, challenges, and current clinical trial status of the novel liposomal-anticancer drug candidates.
