Topic

Pharmacist perspective on pharmaceutical products that affect the immune system or function in an immunological manner. The course describes the immunological effect and mechanism of action for various pharmaceutical products (both conventional small molecules and modern macromolecules) with special attention to drugs with direct immune-modulation or sharing common immunological side-effects. The course details which products and drug combinations lead to efficient immune-mediated disease resolution or the development of adverse side-effects due to affecting the immune system. The course also discusses the way drug combinations affect the immune system.
