On December 30, a day before the end of one of the most significant years in history, 2020, the co-developed vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer arrived at 21 hospital vaccination point, including Pécs.

In addition to several hospitals in Budapest, Győr, Kecskemét, Szolnok, Tatabánya, Kaposvár, Pécs, Miskolc, Szeged, Székesfehérvár, Debrecen, Balassagyarmat, Szombathely, Veszprém, Nyíregyháza, Eger and Békéscsaba have been received vaccines.
