Practical and oral final exams for pharmacy students have successfully started - photo gallery

16 June 2020

Despite the challenges and unexpected situations of the year 2020, the Faculty of Pharmacy managed to successfully complete the distance learning and then the digital exam period. The practical and oral final exams began on Tuesday, June 16, at 8 a.m. strictly complying with the mandatory hygiene precautions and rules. Students were already provided with protective clothing (mouth mask, hand sanitizer tube, rubber gloves, and disposable gown) upon entering the building, and then had to sign a student statement about their involvement in the COVID-19 epidemic.

After that, they had to leave their bags and all their personal belongings with them only to bring with them the basic equipment needed for the final exam, which they had received on the spot. A calculator and all other materials that could be used in the exam were provided for the students!

The students were placed very far apart, in a pre-planned seating order, thus maintaining the appropriate distance between the people in the same space.

The final exam was organized under the leadership of Dr. Pál Szilárd, the director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy, who also supervised the course of the exams and the observance of the rules. The first students were also visited by Prof. Dr. Lajos Botz, Dean of our Faculty, to wish them luck and to look at the implementation of the final exam.
