On 15 June 2026, the first session of the “Trainers’ Training” workshop series was successfully held within the framework of the BABE project (Interreg VI-A HU–HR), marking an important milestone in the development of a cross-border, innovative educational cooperation between partner institutions.

The workshop brought together members of the project teams from the two partner institutions – the University of Osijek, Faculty of Food Technology Osijek (UNIOS PTFOS) and the University of Pécs, Faculty of Pharmacy – who will be actively involved in the development of online courses and short training programmes (micro-credentials). These educational offerings represent one of the key objectives of the BABE project, contributing to the strengthening of modern, practice-oriented, and digitally supported higher education learning opportunities.

During the meeting, participants engaged in a constructive and professional exchange of experiences in an informal yet focused atmosphere. The training session provided valuable insights into innovative approaches to designing and developing digital learning content. Special emphasis was placed on instructional design tailored to online and hybrid learning environments, as well as on the sharing of best practices between institutions.

Beyond professional knowledge exchange, the event also further strengthened collaboration between the partner institutions and supported the alignment of methodological approaches, which is essential for the successful implementation of the upcoming course development phases.

The “Trainers’ Training” workshop series will continue in the coming months with additional sessions, further supporting the continuous development of teaching competences and the achievement of the BABE project’s educational objectives.
