One of the missions of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Pécs is to support its students in progressing in their studies as effectively as possible. Therefore, the Faculty has launched a Learning Support Mentor Program for students enrolled in both English and Hungarian language courses. Our goal is to create student study groups led by senior pharmacy students or teachers (mentors), where students can discuss the more challenging aspects of a subject with the help of their peers and the mentor.
Teachers also ensure continuous professional support. Mentees can seek their assistance in cases where they have difficulties with senior student mentors or encounter obstacles in understanding the material. This provides that mentees can always find appropriate solutions to any challenge and receive the highest level of support throughout their studies.
Become a student mentor:
- Apply for the Learning Support Mentoring Scholarship announced at the beginning of each semester
- You have already passed the mentored subject with at least a grade of 4
- Communicate well and easily connect with your peers
Become a mentee:
- You are having difficulty with a particular subject
- Apply for the free program by emailing mentor@gytk.pte.hu
- Commit to regularly and actively participating in the mentoring consultations during the semester (mentored declaration)
- You agree to attempt the exam in the mentored subject at least twice during the semester exam period (if you do not pass on the first attempt).
