The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs celebrated the power of knowledge and community at the Professional Day and the subsequent Faculty's Night on 28 September 2023.
The aim of the PTE GYTK Professional Day is to support students in their career choices and career development, while offering opportunities for scientific research and talent development. The event introduced the Undergraduate Research Society and included visits to institutes to introduce students to faculty research opportunities.
The event focused on participation in clinical trials and related career opportunities. Experts spoke about the opportunities for careers in clinical pharmacy and the professional challenges that students may face in this field.
Click on the photo to see the full gallery of the Professional Day!During the event, various awards were handed out by the Faculty, including the "Outstanding Student of the Year", the "Best Teaching Institute" and "Outstanding Teacher" awards. The awards were presented by the Faculty's management and representatives of the Student Council.
The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Pharmacy awards the title "Outstanding Student of the Year" to the student who has achieved the best academic results in his/her year.
As a final chord of the Professional Day, interested students were able to learn about professional internships and career opportunities with representatives of Viatris Hungary, who welcomed the participants in their adopted and inaugurated hall.
The morning event was followed by the Professional Evening, which traditionally strengthens the cohesion of the faculty community and provides an opportunity for students and faculty to have fun together.
