PTE GYTK Quality Objectives for 2025

The UP Faculty of Pharmacy is committed to continuous improvement and quality development. In alignment with the university’s strategic guidelines, the Faculty has identified five key quality objectives for 2025, aiming to advance education, research, organizational efficiency, and sustainability.

1. Introduction of a Specialization and Micro-Certification in Biotechnology

Biotechnology plays an increasingly vital role in healthcare, pharmacy, and the Faculty’s activities. In response, PTE GYTK is introducing a new specialization and micro-certification within its biotechnology education program.

  • Alignment with strategic goals: Excellence in biotechnology education
  • Responsible coordinator: Vice Dean for Education and Student Welfare, Program Director of the BSc in Biotechnology
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025

2. Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Artificial intelligence and data science are gaining prominence in education and research. The Faculty aims to integrate these tools effectively into its daily operations.

  • Alignment with strategic goals: Excellence in biotechnology research and development
  • Responsible coordinator: Vice Dean for General and Scientific Affairs
  • Indicator: At least one AI- and data science-focused workshop per year and the development of new courses
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025

3. Development of Networking and Collaboration

Effective collaboration is key to successful research and education. By strengthening communication between institutes, the Faculty seeks to promote knowledge sharing and joint projects.

  • Alignment with strategic goals: Promotion of research, development, and innovation
  • Responsible coordinator: Vice Dean for General and Scientific Affairs
  • Indicator: Monthly forums and the organization of a Collaboratory
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025

4. Enhancement of Performance and Development Management Systems

To ensure efficient work processes, the Faculty will further develop its HR system, organizational structures, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Alignment with strategic goals: Improvement of organizational efficiency
  • Responsible coordinator: Vice Dean for Organizational Development and Relations
  • Indicator: Implementation of a performance-based remuneration system and integration with health development programs
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025

5. Strengthening Sustainability Measures

The Faculty actively supports sustainability goals and the promotion of an environmentally conscious mindset.

  • Alignment with strategic goals: Environmental protection and sustainability
  • Responsible coordinator: Vice Dean for Organizational Development and Relations, Vice Dean for General and Scientific Affairs
  • Indicator: Establishment of a sustainability working group and the announcement of thesis and TDK research topics in this field
  • Deadline: December 31, 2025
