We are pleased to announce the dates for our summer school “Greifswald Summer” 2026. From August 3 to 28, students from all over the world are invited to Greifswald to learn the German language and spend an informative and exciting time with us at the University of Greifswald.
The program mainly consists of 25 hours of German lessons per week and workshops tailored to the students' language skills, in which they can apply and expand their language skills and learn about various aspects of German culture and current topics.
The levels offered range from B1 to C1.
After class, there are numerous cultural events and activities in Greifswald and the surrounding area. On the weekends, participants have time to explore the Baltic Sea region and the rest of Germany on their own.
The program is open to prospective students, students, researchers, and university staff.
The program costs €550.00 and includes the language course and workshop. The cultural program and activities are free of charge. The application deadline is April 30. For registrations up to and including February 28, an early bird price of €450.00 applies.
